OUR BELIEFS

We're all about unity at Journey, and so we keep a relatively small list of core beliefs. We choose to major on the things that are the most important for following Jesus so that in every way possible we can maintain unity as a church community.

As a church, we believe in these four things:

• The Cross We believe that Jesus died to take away the sins of the world.

• The Blood We believe that Jesus' blood covers our sin and makes us right with God.

• The Grave We believe that Jesus' grave is empty and that God raised Him to new life. By raising Jesus from the dead, God broke the power of death in our lives.

• The Bible We believe that the Bible is God's Word, and that it has ultimate authority in our lives.

Just like Paul wrote to the Corinthian church in 1 Corinthians 15:3, we believe that these are the most important things when it comes to our faith in Jesus. These core beliefs have given us unity at Journey while helping us to keep taking next steps toward Jesus.

OUR MISSION

Our mission at Journey is simple: we want to help people take their next step toward Jesus. Everything we do is centered around this mission from the way we're organized as a church to the way we live our lives. It's a mission worth giving our lives to, and you're invited to come live on mission with us.
